When working, I have a few systems in place to keep things consistent and productive. naming conventions, file structures that sorta thing. I also use my own "Shanework"" its like a framework...but just for me.
When coding I use coda. For web graphics is use photoshop or illustrator. For FTP I use transmit. For my ideas and concepts I use pencils & papper. When testing "heavy duty" stuff locally, I use MAMP. When asked to content manage I use wordpress, CUSHY or tumblr
I am a web designer & this is my portfolio. I share this space with Cecil Abrahams III, a mischievous spirit that resides here and is determined to mess up my carefully crafted portfolio, I’m not sure how he got here or why he wont leave, but he’s starting to grind my gears.
When I’m not busy trying to exorcise the spirits out of my web space, I can often be found growing a bad ass beard.
Recently (2010) graduated from IMD (Interactive Multimedia Design) at University of Ulster and before that I studied software development at East Tyrone College of Further and Higher Education.
